Eugenia Alejos, una nueva promesa, y Rocket Magazine

Hola Silent Kids.

¿Qué tal todo? Espero que me perdonéis por estos dos meses que he estado sin actualizar, pero entre exámenes  y compromisos tanto laborales como personales no he podido escribir nada.

Como recompensa, aquí os traigo a una joven promesa de la moda española.

Ella es Eugenia Alejos. Eugenia nació en España en 1987 y es una ilustradora y diseñadora independiente que ha estudiado en la Escuela Superior de Moda de Burgos (donde se graduó con honores) y después se especializó en tejidos (también con honores) en la ESAD de Oporto.

Su firma se distingue entre las demás por la calidad de sus prendas, las cuales se ofrecen en edición limitada, por sus cortes impolutos y por la vistosidad de los patrones.

Pero mejor que describirlo, os dejo unas fotos de sus prendas, lucidas por el modelo José Luis Lobato inmortalizado por Alberto Van Stokkum.

Además, os informo de que ya podéis leer en la revista Rocket Magazine uno de mis últimos artículos, esta vez sobre el diseñador belga Walter Van Beirendonck, y la selección de looks que he hecho para la actual temporada otoño-invierno 2012.

How are you? I hope you forgive me for these two months I've been out of date, but between tests and workplaces and personal commitments I could not write anything.

As a reward, here I bring to a young Spanish fashion promise.

She is Eugenia Alejos. Eugenia was born in Spain in 1987 and is a freelance illustrator and designer, studied at the School of Fashion of Burgos (where she graduated with honors) and later specialized in fabrics (also with honors) in the ESAD of Oporto.

Hes label is distinguished among others by the quality of their garments, which are offered in limited edition for its pristine courts and the view of the patterns.

But rather than describe it, I leave some pictures of her garments, weared by the model José Luis Lobato and immortalized by Alberto Van Stokkum.

In addition, I inform you that now you can read in the magazine Rocket Magazine one of my recent articles, this time about the Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck, and the selection of looks that I have done for the season autumn-winter 2012.

Rodarte & Opening Ceremony, de lo más interesante...

Hola.

Hoy os presento la colaboración que Kate y Laura Mulleavy, las chicas de Rodarte  han hecho con otra de las grandes, Opening Ceremony.

Así, han creado una colección para otoño-invierno inspirada en los países escandinavos, predominando prendas ligeras con colores naturales, que van desde el negro al blanco, pasando por los colores térreos. Los encargados de poner cara y cuerpo a la presentación de esta colección son los Gwen y Donna Loos.

Today I post the collaboration that Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Rodarte girls have done with another big brand, Opening Ceremony.
They have created a collection inspired by Scandinacia for autumn-winter 2011/12, predominantly light clothing with natural colors ranging from black to white to earthy colors. Models who have had to put face and body to the presentation of this collection are Gwen and Donna Loos twins.

Adelanto de "The Narcissus", Jon Kortajarena para VMan

Hola a todos.

Hoy os presento un adelanto de una de las editoriales que podremos ver el próximo mes en la September Issue de VMan, "The Narcissus" es el nombre que se le ha adjudicado a esta serie de fotos tomadas por el fotógrafo Sabastian Faena y con estilismos por parte de Mary Fellowes. ¿El protagonista? Como no, Jon Kortajarena. El top model se mete en la piel de Narciso, el cual segun la mitológia se enamoro de su propio reflejo en el agua, y al ir a besarlo murió ahogado.
Las fotos nos muestran a Jon muy sexy, destacando en los estilismos dos sweaters de punto, uno de Burberry Prorsum y otro de Tom Ford.
Desde luego, bajo mi punto de vista, el número que la revista ha preparado promete, así que el día 1 de Septiembre habrá que ir al quiosco.

Hello everyone.

Today I post a preview of one of the publishers  we will see next month in the September Issue of VMan, "The Narcissus" is the name that has been allocated to this series of photos taken by photographer Sabastian Faena and stylists by Mary Fellowes. Does the protagonist? As there, Jon Kortajarena. The top model gets into the skin of Narcissus, who according to mythology fell in love with his own reflection in the water, and going to kiss him drowned.
The photos show a very sexy Jon, highlighting the two outfits where he wears knitted sweaters, one of them by Burberry Prorsum and the other one by Tom Ford.
Of course, in my view, the number has prepared the magazine looks so good, so that on September 1 will go to the newsstand.
