Qué tal, Silent Kids?

Sé que os tengo muy abandonados pero no puedo dedicarle mucho tiempo al blog... Aunque intentaré quitármelo de mi tiempo de ocio y dedicar más tiempo a vosotros.

Sigo en mi línea y os doy sorpresas como en los últimos posts al presentaros a Silver López, un estudiante de Diseño de Interiores de la Escuela de Arte Pedro Almodovar, de Ciudad Real. Suelo rodearme de gente muy creativa, pero el día en que abrí su Facebook y ví esto... me enamoré de su obra!

Se llama Butacón-tainer y, como su nombre indica, es un sillón hecho con un contenedor!

Además nos deja las fotos del making of de la pieza, por si alguien se atreve a hacerlo... Yo, desde luego, cualquier día lo haré. Y tú? Estás dispuesto a robar el contenedor de tu comunidad para hacer una obra de arte?

Además, os informo de que podéis leer el número 5 de la revista Byron Magazine, donde hay un artículo de 10 páginas sobre el adiós de D&G escrito por mí!

Eugenia Alejos, una nueva promesa, y Rocket Magazine

Hola Silent Kids.

¿Qué tal todo? Espero que me perdonéis por estos dos meses que he estado sin actualizar, pero entre exámenes  y compromisos tanto laborales como personales no he podido escribir nada.

Como recompensa, aquí os traigo a una joven promesa de la moda española.

Ella es Eugenia Alejos. Eugenia nació en España en 1987 y es una ilustradora y diseñadora independiente que ha estudiado en la Escuela Superior de Moda de Burgos (donde se graduó con honores) y después se especializó en tejidos (también con honores) en la ESAD de Oporto.

Su firma se distingue entre las demás por la calidad de sus prendas, las cuales se ofrecen en edición limitada, por sus cortes impolutos y por la vistosidad de los patrones.

Pero mejor que describirlo, os dejo unas fotos de sus prendas, lucidas por el modelo José Luis Lobato inmortalizado por Alberto Van Stokkum.

Además, os informo de que ya podéis leer en la revista Rocket Magazine uno de mis últimos artículos, esta vez sobre el diseñador belga Walter Van Beirendonck, y la selección de looks que he hecho para la actual temporada otoño-invierno 2012.

Las grandes firmas invaden el low-cost.

Hola a todos.

Ya hace varios años, en el 2003, Karl Lagerfeld se unió a H&M para lanzar una colección low-cost que lo acercará más a las masas. Se ve que esta colaboración tuvo éxito por las dos partes, pues Lagerfeld volvió a colaborar, esta vez para Les 3 Suisses, en 2010 y lo hará de nuevo con Macy's  el próximo agosto.
Por la parte de H&M también tuvo que ser una colaboración fructífera puesto que desde que Karl lo hiciese, han sido otros muchos grandes de la aguja los que han colaborado con la marca sueca, tales como Victor&Rolf, Stella McCartney o el último que lo hice, Alber Elbaz con Lanvin. Esperemos ahora a ver lo que pasa con la colaboración preparada para el próximo mes de Noviembre con Versace. ¿Qué nos traerán? Ya falta menos para saberlo...
