"We were overnighters", Bravo Fisher! ya tiene disco

Hola.

Hoy os presento de nuevo a Bravo Fisher! del que ya hablé cuando empecé a escribir este blog. Y es que Guille ya tiene disco (a parte de su disco autoeditado hace unos meses).

A partir de ganar un concurso promovido por Licor 43, el vallisoletano residente en Madrid ha conseguido grabar este disco con 43 music, además de su primer videoclip con el director de cine Nacho Vigalondo y actuar junto con Delorean.

Y es que Bravo Fisher! últimamente no para, pues lo hemos podido ver en importantes festivales de música este verano, destacando su actuación en el Arenal Sound Festival.

En cuanto a su nuevo (y "primer") disco, destacamos que vuelve a ofrecernos canciones de su disco autoeditado como, por ejemplo, Buildings of Decay o A Little Visit, pero esta vez con toques mucho más bailables que el anterior (que ya tenía ritmo de por sí).

Así que, sólo os recomiendo que lo escuchéis y, si os gusta, compréis su disco AQUÍ y, además, que veáis su vídeoclip sobre la canción Go Back To Spain. Seguro que os encanta y no pararéis de bailar con él.

Today I bring you back to Fisher Bravo! which I talked about when I started writing this blog. And it is because Guille have a new album (a part of his self-released album few months ago).

After winning a contest sponsored by Licor 43, this guy from valladolid, who lives in Madrid, has achieved this record with 43 music as well as their first video with film director Nacho Vigalondo and act together with Delorean.

And it is because Bravo Fisher! don't stop, we have seen him in major music festivals this summer, highlighting his performance in the Arenal Sound Festival.

As for his new (and "first") album, he offer us another time the song that we listener in his self-released album, for example, Buildings of Decay or A Little Visit, but this time with a touch more danceable than the previous (already had the rithm in itself).

So I recommend you just listen and if you like, buy his album HERE, and besides, you see his video for the song Go Back To Spain. Sure you love and you don't stop to dance with him.

Bueno, hoy estaba indeciso sobre a quién o a qué dedicarle mi entrada, las opciones más destacadas eran, como ya el título de la entrada dice, Josh Beech and the Johns y José Bonaparte. Lejos de decantarme por una de estas bandas, le dedico la entrada a los dos.

El primer grupo es el liderado por Josh Beech, británico de 22 años que saltó a la luz sobre todo gracias a sus campañas con Levi's, Burberry o las editoriales para Vogue y puedo presumir de que días después de que Nacho Lozano lo fotografiase para Pull and Bear, ese mismo fotógrafo también me fotografiase a mí (ya subiré por aquí las fotos).
Ahora este chico vive entre la moda y la música influenciado por Jeff Buckley, Deftones, Thrice, The Beatles, The Chariot, Simon and Garfunkel, John Mayer.

El primer EP de Josh Beech and the Johns, titulado "She" salió en 2010 y desde entonces no han parado de cosechar éxito. Aquí os dejo su página oficial y la de myspace (hay una lista de reproducción con sus canciones), además de su Facebook, por si los queréis seguir y el vídeo de la cancion "Follow your lead".

La segunda parte de la entrada va para José Bonaparte, bajista de Napoleón Solo, el cual un día me agregó al myspace y al escucharlo me encantó, letras y ritmos que me recuerdan a Lory Meyers y que por tanto resultan muy atractivas para todo aquellos que buscamos algo lejos de lo convencional y de la música comercial os animo a que lo escuchéis en su myspace y a que lo sigáis en Facebook.

Well, today was undecided about who or what to dedicate my entry, options wereoutstanding, as the post title says, Josh Beech and the Johns and José Bonaparte. Rather than opt for one of these bands, I dedicate the entrance to both.

H&M y Bravo Fisher.

Lo prometido es deuda, y ya dije que en este blog no iba a hablar solamente de moda así que esta entrada va a tener doble sentido: música y moda, los color blocks de H&M y la música de Bravo Fisher, no sé si ha sido el primelo lo que me ha hecho acordarme de Bravo (por su marcha y la portada de su disco) o al contrario. El caso es, aquí están las dos cosas.

H&M no ha dejado escapar la tendecia color block de esta temporada y por ello tratan de inspirarnos con unos looks llenos de colorido, muy sport e informales. Así, los colores que destacan en las imágenes son tonos primarios (cian, magenta, amarillo, blanco y negro).

Y ahora la segunda parte, Guille (o Bravo Fisher, como queráis) un chico de los que a mi me gustan, que hace lo que quiere sin dejarse llevar por lo comercial. Mezcla ritmos pegadizos y bailables, una mezcla indie, pop, electrónica que hacen a su música muy atractiva y el remate, sus letras en inglés. ¿Quién diría que este polifacético músico de 28 años nació en Valladolid? Un orgullo para todos.

Who knew that this multi-faceted musician of 28 years was born in Valladolid? A pride for all.
